Compared to many little blue stems, Schizachyrium scoparium 'Ha Ha Tonka' has the trait of fine hairs along much of the foliage. This allows it to catch light and really shine when conditions are right. The blue green foliage is also very nice. Plants just over three feet tall. Selected by Cassian Schmidt and Piet Oudolf.

Full sun, most any soil but wet. 1 gallon.

Spring plant sale orders may be picked up on Saturday, May 16, from 8am-12pm at West Madison Agricultural Research Station. A reminder email will be sent before this date.
