Polystichum acrostichoides is prized for its deep green, evergreen fronds and is an excellent native plant choice for shady woodland gardens. Thriving in well-drained soils and tolerant of juglone (making it suitable under walnut trees), this deer-resistant fern grows 18–24" tall and pairs beautifully with woodland wildflowers.


Part shade to shade, medium moisture soil. 1 gallon.
