Panicum ‘Prairie Dog’ is a refined switchgrass with upright blue-green foliage and abundant airy seed heads that appear in fall, providing strong structure and lasting winter interest. Selected for its more reserved, well-behaved habit, it reaches four to five feet tall with clean blue foliage on upright stems and blooms heavily along the top third of the plant. PP#32,736
